The Ancients Multi-Game Guild

The Pressure is On To Have Fun!!

Hi everyone!!

We get asked many questions especially when someone is
interested in joining our guild, but also from those within
our guild as well.

Questions like

Are you power gamers/Will I be expected to exp?
Are you power crafters/Will I be expected to craft?
What if I enjoy soloing?
Will others mind if I enjoy playing only with my partner?
Is there a playtime requirement?
Can we role-play/Do you role-play
Will I be required to power level?
Are alts allowed?
Does it matter if I cannot seem to settle on a main?
Is it ok to be guilded elsewhere?
Is playing other games frowned upon?

And the list goes on.

My responses to these and other questions are

There is no pressure to group, you can solo if you enjoy that and by all means do it!
If you have a sweety, more power to partnering!
Grouping is fun! If you would like to start a group or join one great!
There is no pressure to pick a main. Alts are very welcome!
Play them all if you enjoy doing so!
If you are on other servers in GREAT! Have fun visiting your RVR guild!
Have fun playing other games!
Role-playing is fun/Not role-playing is fun.
If you want to help someone level Whahoo!
If you do not enjoy power leveling, then don't!
If you want to log on, sit and chat, go for it!
If you enjoy leveling, more power to you!
If you want to pick a character that complements the guild in some way, do so and I hope you enjoy that character!
If you'd love to craft until your teeth fall out, Please do!
And for goodness sakes, play when you would like too! Log when you would like!

We will not always find that perfect guild group that some of us desire and we may not find that crafter we need so badly for new armor/weapons. That is ok. There is always a crafter somewhere and there is generally someone to group with whether that is in guild or out of guild.

We may have bad days where we are just a bunch of old grumps and we will have days where we do not say one word in guild chat
and we will have days where we are chatty as heck and sometimes naughty! /grinzz

What is nice to know, is that our guild family is there in the background somewhere.

All in all, JUST HAVE FUN and realize that fun is relative
for each and every one of us. Some of us are Power Gamers/Crafters/Bot Masters/Alt Makers/Chatters and
some of us are not. There is a happy medium there and being
that it is so unique is what makes it all so interesting!

I believe The Ancients are about having fun. There is no pressure to meet some goal, no pressure to perform other then
goals you set for yourself. Just remember one of our rules is to
Enjoy and Have Fun!

Talk about pressure!!!
